So I cannot figure out why my car has a bit of vibration/droning at low speed and idle. I have forked out the money and changed the cheap Chinese mounts with OEMS, changed out my cheaper spark plugs for the OEM NGK Iridiums, cleaned throttle body & EGR, also adjusted valve lash (didn't need much adjustment). None of this made a drastic improvement. The engine seems to run very strong and pretty smooth, no engine codes. I know my motor mounts are holding vaccuum. The small vibration is the same in drive and reverse. Only possibility I can think of is the motor mount solenoid is not allowing a lot of vaccuum to dampen vibration. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

What motor mounts did you replace? You may also want to check the mid mounts or whatever they are called. There are two and you can see them with the wheel off. They are connecting the subframe to the chassis of the car. Idk the purpose of them but it’s a start and they are cheap.

 

trans mounts! And make sure all the mounts are neutralized after installation.
