Can I have my radio stay on when I turn off the car? When I turn off the car the radio turns off, in my truck the radio stays on until I open a door. Thanks

With the key in the "I" position, yes, with it in "O" or removed, no.

your radio cannot stay on if the key is removed but your HandFreeLink can.

YEP, Chevy ZR2, when I get to work I sometimes am early and I just turn off the car and listen to the radio, when I open the door it shuts off.

yea i loved that feature but not the truck lol. But i wish the TL came with it. oh well.

My mom's 2008 C350 does this and I love it. The navi display stays up/radio on until you open a door. And you can turn the radio on without the key in the ignition- shuts off after 20 minutes though. Pretty nice feature I wish my TL had.

MY NAVI IS NOT TURNING OFF...what do I do..I turn the ignition off and remove the key then i open the door and close it and the navi still stays on. I had to disconnect my battery till i can figure out this problem.

some where in the dash, you fuxxed up.
you will have to go back through your install to find out whats causing this.


no one on the internet can diagnose this, since you had the navi conversion installed.
