Can I pull Engine/Trans from top??

Im in a situation where my 06AT Acura TL trans is taking a crap and I want to attempt the 06-07 v6 accord trans swap. I have 110k miles on it and never did the timing belt water pump so I figured id pull everything out and just make it easier to do it all out the car and put it back in together. I know you can pull the Manual Transmission from the top but I just wanted to confirm the same with the Automatic?? Pls HELP

Go from the top, especially with no lift.

i pulled my 04 out of the top. the only hang up is the braided ground strap the tiny bolt just needs to be taken out or it gets hung up on it. still room with an automatic though.

some guy did it from the bottom in his driveway by supporting the subframe and then raising the TL up and over the motor/subframe! This would be better since you could replace bushings and other suspension parts a lot more easily!

Just keep the tranny in the engine bay and replace the clutch.

Easy and painless.
