Can we pull our motor while leaving the trans still in? 2002 tl

 

yes. but will be a bit tricky.

need to work around the trans when placing the engine back in.

for the few extra bolts pull the trans with the motor out the top. It will be much easier to bolt up and align out of the car.

yup. ive done it and installed in in 3hrs. along with two friends helping me in my garage

 

Yes, and the hood doesnt have to come off. Unhook the washer fluid hose fromthe attachment on the passenger side strut tower, take off the 2 hood struts from the hood, unscrew the drivers side hood strut pin and screw it in the hole closer to the hinge and reattach the hood strut to it to hold the hood open. The hood will stay vertical.

helms manual or alldata (u have to pay for alldata). this will help u also. waiting for it to load sucks
