Can’t locate the Air Conditioning Pressure Switch

I’m trying to recharge the R134a on my Type S but the pressure must be too low and the compressor isn’t engaging. According to Haynes manual you can override that by connecting the pins on the pressure switch. I have a picture of the switch, but for the life of me i can’t find it under the hood of my car! Can anyone give me a description or photo showing where this damn thing is please?

Lower left-hand corner of the condenser, when looking at the front of the car. You can see it peeking thru the bottom of the bumper while laying down on the ground.

Do you have a set of A/C manifold gauges or just using those AC in a can nonsense?

A/C in a can nonsense...

I can't get the compressor to come on. Only thing I haven't checked/changed yet is the relay - going to try that next.

Personally without looking at both sides pressure gauges. I’m not sure you are properly troubleshooting this issue. Have you considered going to an auto parts to borrow them for free (with deposit) ?

Well, I've replaced the relay and still nothing. I did notice when I had the low pressure switch cap off that there seemed to be 4 connectors, maybe I didn't connect the right pins?

The cap has a pin on either flat side and pins at the middle of the curved ends. I have no idea what the pins do - no documentation. Anyone?

Yes, I'm prepared to do that. I'd have to research what the findings mean though....

Does anyone have the wiring pinout for the trinary switch. Have been looking here this morning, it's probably on here somewhere but have yet to find it.
