pressure switch differences

Hello, have a 2001 CL-S with automatic trans 16000 km's on it, Was changing out the 3rd gear transmission pressure switch as blinking D5 light was coded as "bad switch" .
I ordered the switch correct number " 28600-P7Z-003 " and was sent a "28610-RKE-004 " this was from the Honda dealer. The colour is the same/black and connector the same but the body is not a "stepped" design but flat design and the "male" end with the threads is about 1/8 shorter and has no washer like the switch that I removed.
Just want to know if I should use this and add my old washer or leave it off ?
thanks :R.J

According to this parts diagram, neither of those work for your car

28600-P7Z-013 replaces 28600-P7Z-003

28610-RKE-004 should be for MDX, TL, RL's, : https://www.oemacuraparts.com/oem-pa...ya-28610rke004

There is a

28600-RKE-004

that would fit your CL:

OK, thanks for the quick response. I guess that I will reuse the old washer from the replaced pressure switch.

My car wouldn't start in park tonight but did start in neutral. It never did this before. I think it is this switch. The interesting thing is that I had the car sprayed with rustproofing spray earlier in the day. I wonder of the switch housing is no longer sealed and some of the rustproofing oil got into it. I am calling the local Honda dealer in the morning to see if they have the switch in stock as the car is already scheduled to go to my local shop for a ton of other work tomorrow. Timing belt, pullies, tensioner, water pump, passenger side radiator fan replacement, diff fluid replacement and a drain and refill on the ATF. Might as well do this too while it is on the lift. If not, I will have to order it and do it myself.
