Bleeding clutch/bleeder screw question
Bleeding clutch/bleeder screw question
Hi everyone, my clutch pedal is stuck to the floor now without any will to pull back. I've been doing research throughout our forum and see that could be a problem of the slave cylinder or master clutch. However, i want to try bleeding the clutch system first before anything else.
My question is that, how do you get to the bleeder screw of the slave cylinder? the easiest way, of course

it's pretty accessible in the front, just get an 8mm wrench. probably easiest to break it free with a regular 6 point socket first, but use the wrench when bleeding.
There's lots of threads around here that explore the same pedal problem you're having. So if bleeding the clutch doesn't work, make a quick search around here.
Good luck!

I second that. Stand by the driver's side and crack it with a 8mm socket. Then a 8mm open wrench to open and close but it's easiest to use a vacuum pump. I use a mityvac because it's so tight in there you may not close the bleeder screw properly if someone was pumping vs. the vacuum pump's constant vacuum until you pull the hose off. There's 2 bolts holding the slave to the transmission if you wanted to remove it and move it up a bit, but not worth the extra effort.
