Battery died and no option for radio code input

My battery died while I was away for a week and brother didn't keep my car running like I asked him to so my battery died. When I got the better back up and running I expected that I had to put in the Navi code and radio code. The Navi code input option was there but there is no option for me to put the radio code in. I tried pulling the fuse for it but that didn't work. Any suggestions? ?

Pull the battery cable for 10 mins and that should reset the system. I know you have to use different buttons to input the code for the radio.

IIRC, the procedure in this case is to pull fuse #7 for one minute, then try it again.

But just so I'm sure you're talking about the fuse under the dash right?

Yes it does, only nav code automatically pops up, you need to "turn on" your radio for it to be like.... code first please... lol

Yes, are you sure you pulled #7? If you're not careful, it's easy to mis read the rows of fuses.

Yeah I'm sure. The fuse doesn't look to be blown either

Is your radio turn on? Once you have the radio turn on enter the code via radio preset button.

The radio doesn't turn on. I've tried disconnecting my battery for 10mins, iv tried pulling fuse#7(fuse isn't blown either) for a min, and yes iv tried pushing the power button lol. Nothing seems to be working...

Do you have Nav? Curious what shows when you have audio displayed on Nav and you hit power.

Probably not all fuses are the same, rather than pull a specific number, pull the fuse that is for ACC. That did it for me

That would be the fuses under the hood, not under the dash...

I don't have navi but on the radio itself when I power up after battery disconnect it prompts for the code. I think you only get four or five tries, maybe your bro tried that too many times and now it's bricked, and that's why the radio doesn't come on at all?

Had similar issue after a dead battery. My problem was the fuse. Replaced and problem solved.
