Aura plus coverage on caliper seal
HI Guys
I have Acura Plus coverage.. I Just took my car in for a B1 and they found that the front and rear driver side caliper seal is broken.. On the Acura plus website the calipers are covered shouldn't the caliper seals be covered also?

The guy was like "while we were looking at your car we found the caliper seals were broken" that's it... I called back the guy is supposed to call me back.. Is a broken caliper seal is extremely dangerous or can I get by with it for a couple months.

Caliper seal could mean different things:
A torn/leaking caliper piston seal/boot could leak brake fluid on your pad and rotor, reducing braking force on that wheel. If it is leaking bad, it could eventually cause the brake pedal to go to the floor and leave you with no brakes.
The copper sealing washers on the brake line could be leaking...
A torn caliper slide pin boot will eventually cause the caliper to seize up, but this is not as bad as above and can be easily fixed before any damage is done.
I think it should be covered by your warranty, irregardless of which of these conditions you are experiencing.

Yeah do it turns out they did fix a front caliper seal and rebuilt it, and there was a problem with the rear boot that was also fixed free of charge.
Also found out that 3/4 of my factory rims are bent.. But the car is still very stable.
