Air Vent Malfunction?

I have a 2005 TL and I noticed that one of the four air vents is hardly blowing any air, even at full fan speed. If you are sitting in the driver seat, looking at the vents left to right, I am talking about vent # 2. I know there is mention of the microphone directly above and I was wondering if this particular vent blows less because of the microphone.

Anyone else experience this?

I've fiddled with all the vents and different modes. Vent # 2 is not putting out the same air as vent #3 which should be equal since they are both in the center console. Just want to know if others experience the same and if this is normal.

I have the opposite problem. When the system is "off" it still blows air through the upper dash vents. I have to close them manually just to keep air from coming out. You know how to fix that?

Ive noticed that if you have it off and you hit the mode button to show where to blow the air then you start to feel it. but with it all off I dont get any air.......at least I dont think so

Either change the mode (as trancemission mentioned already) to blow the air to the bottom or hit the recirc button to completely cut off air. I would just change the mode.
