My battery will play the radion, all the lights, and other stuff. The battery will not start the car thou. Any suggestions on the best way to get it running again?

 

get a jump to at least get your car running and buy an optima red! Bring socket 10mm I think.....so you can change out the battery as soon as you buy it.

 

Yeah, it should jump just fine. Let it run long enough to charge up again. Go for a drive.

What is the big deal about the Optima Red? I see a lot of posts about it, but I can't figure out the advantages of having it. Is it that much better than a stock battery in good condition? I'm just curious, not bagging.

 

I got my car running again. I don't need a new battery. I just ran the radio too long as i was waxing the car. And when I went to turn the car on, it didn't start. So i got someones wall outlet to car battery charger and charged the battery for about 10-15 mintues then took it for a drive. Works fine now, thanks for the responds.

if the car battery is still under warranty DO NOT have it jumped next time - have roadside tow your car even if you can get it to start so the dealer sees that there is a problem with the battery.
