Hey everyone,

I went to clean the filter on my AEM V2 intake today and noticed a large amount of play in the intake tube. I went to check the mounting bolt on the lower part of the tube and it is completely sheared off. Have any of you had this problem before or seen this? If so, any tips on how to go about fixing it?

yeah, it happens. if there is no hole. leave it be.
if there is a hole, trash it.

 

The bolt just simply sheared off
You should be able to remove the old bolt with ease and install a new one from a hardware store.

Duct tape!

 

Looks like the Rubber Grommet that is used as a damper separated. Buy a new grommet and you will be fine.
