When I got this car I had intermittent problems with the abs tc triangle and vsa lights on. This would happen when the car sat in rain without being driven. after driving for about 30 minutes those lights would go away. I recently had the engine swapped and those lights have been on for 2 months now. The shop replaced the wheelspeed/abs sensor and cleared the codes but they just came right back. i heard this could be many things even the wheel bearings which Im fine with tackling myself but id like to confirm thats the problem. Im going to have the codes read today.

 

It's almost certainly one of your ABS wheel speed sensors.

Make sure to note which wheel, and also if it's the code for open/short to ground (11, 13, 15, 17) or intermittent noise/interruption (12, 14, 16, 18).

 

The car was throwing a code for front passenger side abs sensor. replaced and still nothing. Ill get the codes read and probably replace all the sensors

 

before throwing parts at the issue, test the wiring and make sure it's good and there's not a problem.

 

Code read by acura states front left sensor error. I made a mistake, thats the one that was replaced earlier. If its not the sensor itself could this be a wheel bearing issue?

 

What is the actual number of the code? "Error" isn't very specific.

Whether the code is for noise/interruption or open/short to ground is an important distinction for the diag process.
