6 Spd TL-S Starter Issue.

Yesterday, my car wouldn't start. Had full power & a single clicking noise when I would turn to the "start" position...I assumed it was a bad starter. I played with it for a while & learned that if I would repeatedly step on the clutch while holding the key in the "start" position it would turn over...It does this 1 out of every 3 starts now...what's broken?

May still be the starter, especially with a single click that was heard, classic starter symptom. Continual up and down on the clutch pedal to engage and disengage the interlock switch is the same as holding the clutch pedal down and turning the key on and off to get the starter to rotate. Just do an electrical conformation of power through the interlock switch to be sure, or hold the pedal down and turn the key on and off numerous times, or check voltage at the starter.
I say, start looking for a starter.
