Braking/transmission down shifting

Hi Guys

I noticed when I'm on the highway in rush hour and only make it up to 20km/h and then pretty much back down to a stopped position the car brakes pretty hard once i take my foot off the gas and the car drops down to first gear (automatic transmission). The transmission is smooth otherwise and i just had the fluid changed.

I know my brakes are fine I just had a brake inspection, my pads and rotors are fine and i just had them lubricated.

The car does kinda shake a little when i do get back into first gear so i'm just wondering if im just being picky or maybe i have a problem with the drive shaft or something.

Thanks Guys!

Do the downshifts vary with harshness?

You could try changing to the Redline Type-F transmission fluid, it's all the rave with the 3Gers.

Hi Tyler

yes i'd say the downshifts do vary with harshness. It's got me thinking it could be the drive shaft, worn out motor mounts etc.

I'll give that fluid a try next time around.

Thanks for your reply
