While changing my headlights, the parking light on the passenger side of my TL burnt out, but the turn signal still worked. I bought amber led 7443 bulbs to replace it. When I replaced the bulb and turned on my headlights, the right turn signal marker appeared solid on the dashboard and when trying the turn signals the left turn signal came up for both the right and left side. Also the bulb did not work. I replaced the halogen bulb and everything went back to normal with just the parking light being out.

Any ideas on whats wrong?

 

wrong bulb perhaps?

btw the bulb is incandescent not halogen

 

check the fuse.

 

7443 bulbs are dual filament. I think the parking light filament is broken but when the turn signal is on, it flashes that filament. Also in regards to the LED, my guess would be a bad quality LED bulb. Usually LED bulbs on turn signal will hyperflash.
