My 2005 TL 97K miles, makes 3 ticking noises, 1-second apart each tick, after I shut off my engine. The sound comes from the Engine Block and closer to the passenger side. Does anyone know why and what causes it?

 

Read somewhere that this is normal behavior. Metal parts cooling effect I guess.

 

It could be relays clicking off...
