2007 Acura TL Type-S won't start
hello, was hoping to get suggestions about my TL I just bought. While I was driving it started throwing all sorts of emissions codes, check engine light, transmission code, and starting system code. Now it will not start, no turn over, nothing. My key fell apart, I went to a locksmith and got a new one, with the immobilizer that was originally in the key. The green key light on the dash was flashing, so i thought that might have been the problem . It still will not start and when a code reader was hooked up to the car, it would not read anything, could not even make a connection to the car besides it showing the battery voltage. Could it be the ECU is done for ? Also when you put the key in, it doesn't want to come out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

- Check your powers and grounds first. It sounds like a power and/or ground problem.
- Make sure your battery is good and fully charged
- Check your fuses
- The OBD2 connector has it's own 12V source that's used to power on most cheap scanners so keep that in mind.
- Flashing security key light means the immobilizer does not recognize the key, but it should still crank. The immobilizer only disables the fuel pump.
