Hello all,

I have a 2006 TL with approx 150K on it. All of the sudden while driving, the transmission started slipping pretty bad (has never showed a single sign of a transmission issue at all). Have done trans services ever 30k (3x3x3). No check engine light/no lights on in dash. When I stop, put it in park and back into drive it still slips. However, when I stop, put it in park, shut it off and restart it right away it will drive perfect for approx 1/4 mile then start slipping again. Eventhough there are no lights on, I checked for codes p0741, which I guess is the death code for transmissions.

Being that it has never showed any signs of an issue, and it drives fine after shutting it off for a second. I hope to think the transmission isint toast. What are some things I can check to make sure?

Also, if it does end up needing a transmission. Are there any transmissions (auto) that will swap over? Im thinking Accord V6 transmission, but is it a direct fit or do I need to transfer anything to make it work properly?
