2005 MDX power steering pump compatible with 2004 TL?

Just wondering if the pump is compatible as I acquired an mdx as a project and decided not to follow through, however the power steering works perfect. If it is, i amgonna try that pump on my tl to see if it improves my crappy power steering and issue where car always pulls to the left at speed, before i have the mdx picked up for scrap

I would try a wheel alignment first My tl pulled to the right and the cure was a tire and alignment.

I had an alignment done last year, car was way more stable over bumps but still pulled to the left. The power steering is kind of weak when you have to work the wheel to get into a parking spot, not sure if the pump is the issue or elsewhere

1. Go to www.oemacuraparts.com
2. plug in both car year and model to get the P/S pump part number
3. compare the part numbers on the power steering pumps to get your answer

the "sub pump assembly" for the tl is a 56110-rda-a01, and the mdx is a 56110-rdj-a02, seems kind of similar but not a perfect match

Just buy the seals and reseal your PS pump yourself. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-p...-scans-841134/

Turns out the pump is identical, I threw it on this afternoon and power steering feels excellent now. I guess I'll have to install the passenger side outer tie rod and get it aligned as it still wants to pull to the left a bit.

The link below attempts to clarify Acura / Honda part numbers:

damn that's useful! It doesn't exactly determine whether parts or interchangeable, but still good to know the convention used for part numbers
