I was driving my 2004 TL automatic about 40mph going up a slight upgrade and the dashboard lights went out and the engine stalled. While I was still rolling I put it in neutral and restarted the car & all was fine.

Anyone had this happen or know if this is serious or a fluke?

 

Mine stalled but I was getting acquainted to the clutch =p


Very strange; might be worth having your battery checked out if it's the original or older one / verify that it's working ok.. maybe a loose fuse? =/

 

I thought there was a TSB about something behind the fuse panel being loose that would cause it to stall.
