07 type s tranny problems

07 type s tranny problems

I have a 07 tl type s and when I put it in nearby doesn’t drive the car been sitting for a while and has code p0983 previously I it had p0974 and I changed the solenoid I seen that I may have broke the harness wire and would have to change that to fix the code should it be fine after if not would adding transmission fluid help and some Lucas or is the transmission done

dont put lucas in yet, fix the wires that are causing the codes.

Gonna replace the whole mechanism probably just gonna sneak one out of the junkyard


I had to replace the connector already because it was blown

i fixed the wires then code p1717 popped up. I cleared it and it went away
