07 Av6 D5 Blinking

Did the 07 Av6 over the Summer time of this year everything thing went very smooth with the swap no issues until today. My D5 light started blinking but no CEL or TCS like our previous tranny fails. The 07 Av6 still shifts outstanding prior to the swap the only things I didn't change were the pressure switches from our tl was this needed? Thinking this might be the issue but not sure? In Need of help thanks in advance

When the D5 blinks but no code means only the dealer can read those code(s).

Eventually its going to light up the CEL and TCS, Not sure that the dealer would check that for free. Unless you know someone with a scan tool capable of reading the AT codes.

That's my experience as well - the dealers like to charge for a full hour of work at a minimum even if it's a 5min job. Unless you have a good relationship with them that is but if you have a 13+ year old car they aren't going to care much about your business.

Maybe the paper clip method would help in this case.

You can always read the codes for all systems (PCM, ABS, TCS/VSA, SRS) by jumping pins 4 & 9 on the OBD2 connector and turning ignition to ON. Count the blinks on each indicator light. Major code has slower blinks (rapid blinks in a row means 10) followed by minor code with slightly faster blinks. Or, something like that
