My light on the passenger side seem to blinking on and off, for a time then coming back on. It may work find for a time (20-30 min.) and then start the process all over again. Is this a sign of it failing or maybe a loose wire, or ballast issue

Has anyone had any issue with there xenon headlight on the TL? Has anyone replaced the bulb it even a bulb issue?

swap the bulbs around and see if the problem follows the bulb if it does it is a bad bulb if not you got larger problems

about 3000 hours use is the life of HID bulbs
If you use them to flash that shortens the life
Always replace bulbs in pairs to keep color and brightness matched

dealer cost is laughable 125 per bulb!!-ck kaixen or phillps brands as options for 100 pair or less
4300 stock color- 5000 a nice upgrade- any higher is hard to see the road with

 

Is the color of it changing in comparison to the other one? If so, then that's another sign that the bulb is about to go.

It might turn a yellow-pink color.

 

Ditto, I had this problem and that test confirmed it was the bulb. Which is the best considering the alternative options.

 

Whats involved in changing out these bulbs? Did anyone take there car to a shop to changeout the bulbs.

I also like buying bulbs in pairs. A newer bulb will always shine brighter.

 

I have this problem with an 04. I changed the bulb with a new one and it didn't help. Have also noticed a color difference between the sides. Mine wont just go off and no, it will go off and not come back on until the car is turned off and let sit for awhile. I am guessing it is a ballast issue.

 

Is the any instruction on installing both sides. (step by step instruction)
