06 TL Engine Help!

Anyone know what part this is? On the left side of the engine, above the windshield washer bay.

My car hasnt been running for a month and I went out to jump it earlier and the car was not getting any power at all. This was the only part making noise.

I could be wrong, but I believe that is the VSA modulator? I know mine would stay on and ran my battery down. I couldn't figure out why my battery kept draining and then like you said i lookedd under the hood after charging the battery and this was steadily running. I ended up just pulling the relay under the hood.

I'm still not sure why it stayed on, possibly a bad relay? I never looked into it too much because my car and the brakes seemed to run the same.

Hmm...where is the relay located? I'll try to pull it and jump it again.

The relays are located in the fuse box under the hood. There's a 40a and a 30a associated with the vsa. I think I pulled the 30a, but you may just have to charge the battery and turn the car off and pull one or the other until you hear the motor stop running.
