Anybody know the price of the 3.0 engine, with ecu and tranny? Cuz this torqueless wonder (2.2 engine) has got to go.

 

dont waste ur time or money on a j30. get a h22. u get engine, ecu and tranny for about 2000-2500. then ull have just as much hp, way lighter, plus a 5spd. not to mention the mods for that engine are almost endless. and its DOHC VTEC. that shit will pulllll

 

Where would one look for a H22a engine for $2,500??

u got to shop around. i have seen them go for 3500 but i knwo u can get them cheaper fro 2500 and they will be in good condition. try japengines.com they sellt hem from japan

What exactly is a h22a engine? It's a DOHC VTEC, 2.3 engine? or 3.0? Sorry, I'm new to this engine talk, thanks

 

i believe the h22 is from the prelude?? sorry kinda tired and can't think right now..it hurts

 

h22a is fond in 97+ preludes any model. 200 hp 2.2L DOHC VTEC. for racing and perfomance that is th engine to buy. becuse it is lighter then the j30. make sjust as much hp, its DOHC, u can have a 5spd, not to mention th eparts available are endless. u can easily have 300hp no problem. u will smoke the new cls easy with a h22 and a couple thousand in mods.

h22a(300hp) + NO2(175hp) = Speed(475hp)
