Some reading on here has lead me to the 3x3 method for draining and re adding. Is it simply drain 3 qts, fill 3 qts. Drive for a bit(how long)? repeat for total of 3 times....

Also have seen Redline ATF used as well as Honda DW-1 Atf...

Car has 110k, new to me and just like to have all freshened up!

Supposedly all scheduled maintenance was done, so not sure when last tranny flush would have been?

 

I would drive 1K miles between 1x3's so you dont shock it to bad at 110K.

No they are pretty easy to tackle, just beware that if your tranny has never had the fluid changed you could risk a chance that redline will speed up the tranny failure process, "IF" it was on its way out.

I changed the tranny fluid about a few months ago. I guess ill do another 3x3 then change the switches after this change.

 

What's the mileage on your car?

 

92k. Using all oem fluids in it since I purchased it at around 88k
