04 Acura TL NEED HELP PLEASE

So, I’m a first time Acura owner, and I love the car; however, I sincerely believe the guy I bought it from wired in 2 low beam lights for each side bcuz the high beam bulb and wires aren’t connected at all. My problem is how do I fix what that idiot did? At first I thought maybe he upgraded the light system that everyone talks about but when I finally got to the bulbs they all 4 say sylanvia 9006??? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated TIA

2004 TL has bi-xenon headlights. Lowbeam and highbeam is 1 bulb. The lowbeam has a flap that opens to let the highbeam function. The inner light is the fog light from the little switch on your headlight stalk to the right of the headlight selection.

that little silver box is the ballast for HID lights, you'll have to trace the wires from the ballast and see if they connect to the car, then follow the wires from the ballast and they should lead to a D2S HID bulb.

that connector is supposed to connect to an OEM ballast. The other plug is a 9005/6 plug meant for aftermarket HID ballasts. they shouldn't have 9006 HID bulbs, you can still use an aftermarket ballast with a D2S bulb and Amp > D2S connector from the ballast to bulb.. That guy didn't know what the heck he was doing.

Ok! So, the ballast isn’t connected to anything...but I will give further details on that this weekend when I’m able to get bk in there....I also realized that I hv 3 or 4 different size tires on this thing 225/45ZR17, 245/45R17, and (2) 235/45R17 and my spare I believe is an 18...I’m blown away have never seen anything like it...what size should a normal person have on it? Did I mention I’m a single mom whose usually self sufficient, show me once and I have it down but this guy has got me like wooo ...anyway thank you both for responding so quickly and the advice..so very appreciated

Did main headlights worked before? This one:

For proper tire size and pressure (if you have stock wheels), look at the sticker on the middle pillar ("b" pillar) when you open the driver's door. You most likely have a "donut" spare so don't compare size of that wheel to other four.

Main bulb is behind the plastic cup, that might be secured with small security torx screw. Main bulb is D2S HID, which is powered by ballast (small silver box on the bottom of the headlight).
This is taken from youtube from 2005 TL. Yours might be slightly different. That the back side of passenger's headlight outside of the car.

Also, seems like he spliced the 9006 female connector to the hid connector (gray that wasn't connected to anything). That might be for couple reasons. Maybe stock ballast failed and he replaced them with cheap aftermarket parts?

Take wide pictures and point to what you want to know.
