Wow! Very professionally done. And did you replaced the factory rear view mirror with an aftermarket one?

thanks!

I didnt replace the factory mirror. that is a clip-on Broadway mirror. Ive had that since my first car (3000GT) almost six years ago. the OEM mirror is still there.

I have a smaller tripod that I mounted on the rear shelf and the passenger seat.

The camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I have an IR remote and the camera is set to shoot at 1/6-sec shutter speeds. i just drive at a modest pace, trip the IR remote and the camera releases the shutter after 2 seconds.

trust me, tripods are shot-savers. no matter how careful you are with a camera, a tripod almost always guarantees good, consistent pictures.

Looking good man. About that Broadway mirror, flip it upside down. It will match up with the OEM mirror giving a cleaner look (other than the upside down logo).

I see you are looking at the SoCal meet thread. You should come on out.

Ill have to try that, I never thought of it that way. I can always scratch off the Broadway logo anyway if I have to. thanks!

about the meet, it sucks but I had already set some family time tomorrow. that and Ive got some things to finish. maybe at the next meet Ill be there. But if you guys end early and feel like going to the beach tomorrow, hit me up and Ill shoot some pics with you guys. ill pm you my cell if you guys will have the time.

btw, can you fix the title on my other thread, i typed in WDP wrong (I think its WDR or something on the title)

thanks again!

its about the length of my arm, maybe a foot and a half. you dont want a big tripod inside the cabin.

oh and get lots of bungee cords, you need them to tie around the metal necks of the headrests

very nice shots

i like the idea of putting something else on the movie screen, just a little JPEG or something so that the NAVI screen looks different, instead of having blurred street maps on it

Here is a cheap mount that I use that I find fairly effective taking video shots!

Works just as well for standard cams too.
