I was going to use the original upper grill, cut out the cross bar, use fiberglass to fill in the holes, sand, paint and use mesh for the opening. But, I got lazy and used the ebay grill instead lol. I replaced the cheap thin mesh that came with it and used the mesh that I already put on my lower grills. Going to paint it black tomorrow.

Kudos on changing out the cheap mesh on the Ebay grill but that paint will definitely chip. You should have bought powdercoated mesh. Had mine on the car since 2007. Still in perfect condition.
