he will be trading me for the high flows, cause with these i get very annoying zinning sound that I cant stand, sound like a tin can, but Richies customer service is amazing!! always jumps on fastest shipping, and he basically gonna trade me used pcds for new high flows, he stands up for his product.

make it happen
IMO it looks way better than that big type s lip, plus doing some custom work to your car always feels great if done right.
i saw your red calipers, it looks good on silver, i was gonna go with red but it would be too much of a contrast with NBP, plus they match my fogs

i regret not taking any pics while i was installing it, could of have been great DIY..
as for the front lip there is some modification that needs to be done to install it. the area where the lip goes up by the highest point where it meets the fog lights you will need to take a flat file and sand it down, when you buy the lip that corner is bent what you do is just file it down to almost flat so it can snug around the fog light bumper area, i had to put on the lip and take it off couple times to get it perfect.
Also the zip tie tabs that are on both sides of the lip are positioned for base tl, there is no "+" mark inside the bumper for you to drill a hole so those zip tie holder would go through so you will need to measure yourself and drill accordingly so the zip time holders will go through the bumper, and lastly the metal brackets that hold the lip at each end need to be repositioned slightly, but thats easy and doable while you have the bumper off..
also the lip fits very tightly over the type s bumper so what i did is... installed left side of lip than kept stretching and pulling it toward the other end until it snug all around the bumper than it just snaps over the other end of bumper...

i hate it too... i have read however that people have had to adjust theirs to rectify the problem... if i remember correctly they were loosening all the bolts and nuts, shaking the j pipe around and then start tightening from the cat back forward..

the problem was being caused by the flex pipe in the j pipe seeing too much strain. pm richie about it because i recall that he chimed in on the issue, so he should be aware. I dont know if this is the problem youre experiencing or not...

I really enjoy my Canon T3i rebel. Not that I know how to fully utilize it but it is amazing.

However, I have gone and done it now. I took my front bumper off to swap out fogs and run my independant fog relay and wire everything and hopefully get headlights before I have to re-install the bumper.

But I have dismantled my bumper again and will be plasti-dipping the lower valances and chrome strips while it is out.

Already gone to far to turn back now. Hopefully can get ahold of ack on some lights he had otherwise I am getting impatient and might just buy some new type s housings.

Everyones cars are looking good and unfortunately I have to work the weekend of the Nat. Acura meet so I will not be attending.

Keep modding fellows!!!!!!

If you haven't already done the independant fog switch mod I recommend that you do it. It is really nice and makes the car the way it should have been especially with a bi-xenon headlight.

I just installed the front A-Spec under spoiler for my TL Type S, but I can't get the front spoiler to sit right on the bumper! The stickers that the spoiler attaches to the bumper don't stick very well and there is a gap between the bumper and the spoiler. How do I get that to sit right? I followed the directions on the PDF instructions, but it does not want to be flush.

Use extra 3m tape and try to heat the surface a little so you get a better stick.

Something tells me even with the 3M tape that won't work. Eventually it will work its way free. But thanks for the suggestion - I'll try it.

i used a little rubbing alcohol to clean the surface real well where the tape hits the bumper. I had the same problem after the install and now, no problems!

Blah. Now that I think about it I never did that step. I completely forgot about it. Oh well. I will do that tonight, plus use the 3M double-sided heavy duty tape. Hopefully that works...

I took off the stock stickers that hold the front under spoiler to the front bumper and added some heavy duty, super strength double-sided tape. It fits perfect now, and the new stuff is MUCH stickier.

I now have the fronts and sides on, just waiting for the rear to get in.

I understand what you're saying. But I'll tell you something....I met a friend for lunch last week and parked next to a white Porsche 911. It had 4 red Brembo's on all corners. Looking at the Porsche and then looking at my Type S, it seemed like my car took a step-up-maybe a little closer towards the Porsche.

I know it's all an optical illusion and it's strictly between my ears, but I think the red calipers make a huge difference. I just wish I took pictures....

Add me to the group, just picked up my new love last week...

I need opinions....I am torn between the type-s a-spec and base a-spec!! I already have a base bumper so fitting either one would be easy....I just dont know

And now that I have a car I care about again its time to get my Nikon out for a photoshoot
