^ they kinda got me because they said in order for me to get the loan (i short sold my house 6 months ago but my credit score was still over 700 imagine that lol!!!) that lexus wanted it to be a 6 year loan at 3.9% but I can pay off the principle if i add extra to the payment amount when i mail it in.... Plan is to send $1000 a month get it paid off sooner and save some of the interest..... I also added a extended warranty... i know i know probably got had but for $2500 its 125,000 miles or 6 years.... i dont want to pay to replace this tranny and i know im guna be busting it in the canyons lol

3.9 is pretty low.. I don't know your financial situation but it might not be the debt you want to pay down the fastest. Regardless.. enjoy it and don't try any performance mods.. not worth it. Have you seen under the engine cover yet.

Check out Colt's build thread as well:

You need to drop the subframe and engine to replace headers. Don't even talk about FI.

That's the beauty of the IS-F, it's so difficult to mod, it's just not worth it. Suspension, exhaust, wheels, lip kit, deck spoiler are possibilities but other than that.. Leave it alone.

i've read lots of threads about the ipod integration kits, specifically isimple and usa spec, and was curious what type s owners are using or thoughts on how they work with our car specifically? i'm asking because lots and lots of the threads on here involve non navis and other systems that don't have xm functionality, so i'm curious what this type s specific group thinks?

don't need tons of responses just trying to get a few to feel what works best for type s owners. TIA

Trying to get all my extra stuff sold to throw at the wedding/honeymoon! Hopefully ill still see you there! btw the date changed again to June 30 at Richmond International Raceway!

I have the isimple and it is awesome! Unfortunately, with my 07, the kit i bought at best buy was not entirely the correct kit. The brain was correct, but i had to buy the specific cable that hooks up in the rear of the car and that comes with the 16ft ipod cable to run to the front together was like 30 bucks somewhere online dont remember where. The module mounts behind the carpet in the trunk where the xm module is. I love it!

I still get xm with all bands of xm i had before (i.e. xm1 and xm2)

A new aux 1 (for iphone playing pandora or ipod allowing you to control the ipod/iphone while still charging)

A new aux 2 (I use it for the audio for the navtool dvd system for the factory nav unit)

A new ipod source allowing you to control the ipod/iphone from the factory nav radio. This also allows you to control skipping tracks from the steering wheel. It works really really well in my opinion, however if you have a ton of songs on your ipod/iphone then it can tend to lag a little, but it is not horrible.

All and all, i love the isimple and cant imagine having a better setup installed, but i havent really played around with any of the other systems since i used to work at best buy.

I bought my iSimple off Amazon.com last year for maybe 40.00 shipped. However I still haven't installed it yet like a D/A. Don't want to pull my console apart but know I will so that I can have a clean install.

This thread has been pretty slow lately.

Finally got off my butt and ordered led's for my vanity lights and trunk light.

Gonna start tearing apart console for iSimple install.

I am thankful for some good A-Z write-ups for finally doing this. That vanity light was tricky but pretty easy after doing the first one.

let me know how the install goes and what you think of the isimple! i can't find the isimple anywhere for less than 98 (amazon) and then then the pghhd2c cord is 30...so 130 at the minimum!

And I didn't make it to taking anything off. I had a rough afternoon and was pissy so decided not to in fear of getting mad and breaking something.

I don't mind electronic stuff but in life I know that if its not something I want to do then I will get mad and break shit.
And this isn't a 92 civic haha.

I got a 2012 f350 work truck the other day to replace my 06 so I have spent the last couple days researching decks and other stuff.

Bought the dash kit and harness. Also bought vent visors and pre-cut tint for it.
Gonna buy the Pioneer AVH-4400BH dvd player with 7" touch screen and add xm and a rear view camera to it. Along with some juiced up reverse lights.

Being how I spend 3 outta 4 weeks in my work truck and sleep in it more than my own bed.
My crew put in 235 hours the last 2 week pay period.

Yeah just read a bunch of threads and google links on it.

So the 07 does not have nav traffic??

http://googtl.acurazine.com/forums/s...d.php?t=728623

I have xm and nav.

Not sure but am a bit confused as to which way I really need to go with this. Buy the pghhd2c or not.

I read that if you have nav/xm you need it and then I read its only needed on 08+ acura.

my 07 needed it... you can install it without it like i did at first and it works, but none of the controls work right and it is very glitchy... get the nav traffic harness and youll be golden... you dont need to take the front of the car apart at all since it hooks up in the rear behind the nav dvd player!! all you have to do is run the 20 foot ipod cable from the back to wherever you want in the front!

Well that sounds like a relief. Would rather pay 35.00 and wait a week for the right cord and install in the back.

Need to adjust the e-brake a click or 2 tighter anyway and just run the cable up through there.
