Front bumper looks much better now and those new wheels cold look great if you crank the coils down a bit.

Whatever dude, you need to read before posting, my girlfriend got me those for christmas, it would be dirty to not rock them for a little bit. I can afford the authentic(which are on the way).

Does anyone not see anything wrong with this? Someone paints their stock rims and there's three pages of "great car" "awesome ride" and so on... I got this car in SEPTEMBER, modded the sh*t out of it, and all I get is "that's not stanced", "oh you have fake JP stuff","I think you did this wrong, I think you did that wrong". LOOK if you want to call me out, or say my car is a piece of sh*t, or whatever makes your feel like you're "elite", GO F*CK YOURSELF!!! I'm not here to impress a bunch of spoiled assholes. or turn my car into the "ideal TL" that you have predetermined my car should be. I WORK HARD FOR MINE, and just like everyone else, I love my car, and I will mod it as I see fit. Having said that I know the internet is the place for haters that can't talk sh*t in person. So it really doesn't bother me, I'm just in the mood to speak my mind since everyone wants to put me on front street! I'm just saying what I'm sure a lot of people have thought about the way you talk about their car.

I thought Azine was about love for a common hobby, now I know it's for bashing, and being elitist. I'm not new to this, and I'm not some kid trying to "rice" out a TL, I only posted this to give you guys an update on a build in progress. Not to open a forum on fake JP stuff or what is "stanced" so lay off a little. Or just tell me if this is not the place for modding TL's so I don't waste my time, and can find a forum where people like to talk about Acura's constructively not critically.

I say great job so far.

My suggestion for you: Don't get too stuck on words of the moment like stanced & flush unless your willing to be extreme/uber aggressive with it. The internet world connects the masses to the few extreme/limit pushers of each genre and you will get called out on it every time if you are not as "extreme" or "flush" or "stanced" as those few.

I think you should take it for what it is and call your car tastefully personalized. Everyone has their own perceived notion of what modded/stanced/flush etc is but no one can argue with it if you own it as "your own" and what "you like".

So the error was in the way you described your car not in what you have done with your car. I think most people will agree that it looks better than before.

I need to say this though, people post pictures online to get feedback. You can't get angry and offended when people give their opinion (which is what you asked of them by posting pictures) and it's not what you want to hear.

If YOU like YOUR car, then fuck them. You're paying for the mods, not us. You don't need our for YOU to be happy with your car.

With that said, I think your car fits into the "flush" category. You're running some camber with and the wheel is aligned with the fender and it looks great! I wouldn't say you're "stanced" though.

Please don't take offense to my post, I'm just trying to help you out. Don't judge the whole website based on posts made by a few members. They are entitled to their opinion, same as you.

I'm not offended, I know you guys mean well, I was just hoping for some good advice that would help me along the way, but all I seem to get is people wanting to tell me what I did wrong(with effort), or on proper modding grammer. They could have used that effort to post links or pics of parts they thought I should get. Maybe where I can find some used 19's that would set me off?


Here's my formal apology for calling my car stanced, I was just trying to give people an impression of what was inside the thread. It's not like I have a big STANCED sticker on my car. I didn't know people were so sensitive to that word, but now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

never said i was the stance police but 18x9.5+35 is still pretty weak... i daily my car and my previous setup was 18x9.5 +7 18x10.5+18 and i HATE people that use the excuse its my daily or the roads r shitty... your title is what got me...STANCED SSM thats like me posting a thread boosted or turboed tl type s and all i have is an intake.... thats all im saying...

Apparently no one listens, there are alot of____________ (you fill it in) on here that do nothing but talk. I still think it looks good, everyone else on this thread flapping there gums can get f*cked, for everyone's sake that is. The point is to see mods right and what different people are doing? I would like to know what these guys do for a living that are dropping mad money on these cars and think their opinion's are the only one's that matter.

I think the car looks great. Its your own car, your own mods, and if you like it looks good. A suggestions for mods if your interested is painting the engine plastics, looks so nice when done, I rattle canneds mine and it came out so good
