So I bought some semi gloss vinyl and blacked out my grill, personally I like the look of it.
Also, bought some red pinstripe and pinstriped my rims and grill.
Sorry for the crappy phone pics, but nonetheless, Let me know what you think

This picture doesn't do the rims justice. They look better in person.

The pictures don't show it accurately.
Yeah, i'll post some better pictures of the grill once I take some.
Personally I like the contrast with the silver, but to each their own.

Yeah it reminds me of a GTI grill.
I wish I could get rid of the orange in the headlights, but I feel like opening up the headlights has way to much chance of errors for something very subtle.

You guys are right-I do have this on the grill-glad to be a small inspiration! Jamal, I like the blacked out scenario on the grill-it looks good. Please take a shot of the wheels a little farther back. Originally, I was going to do the wheels too, but I didn't think the pinstripping would last very long. Let us know how it holds up on the wheels.
Quake-it's VERY easy to do this pinstripping. Just get 1/4 inch pinstripping at any Auto Parts Store. There is no need to take anything off. Just lay the pinstripping down and gently pull it around the curves to make it lay down properly.

Yeah props to Steven Bell, I got the idea from him. The install is extremely straight forward. No need to take anything off. All you need is a sharp exact-o knife or blade to cut the excess.
I'll post some better pictures as soon as I take them

i like the idea...the job looks great...the only thing is that if your car was black it would look alot sexxier...dont get me wrong the wheels look good...keep it up...mayb its just that silver isnt my fav color..
New pics.
Just did a wash and decided to take some pics. The vinyl is holding up great on the grill. Surprisingly the red pinstripe is also holding up great on the rims and grill. It is not affected by the immense Texas heat(>100degrees) and car washes.
Check out the pics and let me know what you think.

They still have some tirewet foam on them :P

Also pinstriped the rear mesh

And one final one for all the Saints' fans and Brett Favre

WHO DAT.
