Rossv1's Progress Thread
I've thought about doing my headlights again. I'd probably do something like what ebelp did:

And I tested the blue put on a spate set of rear Brembo covers and didn't like how it looked. Maybe if there were other blue accents on the car it'd look better, but it just didnt seem to flow. I'm just going to stick with the silver with red stickers. The Brembo covers should get out on Thursday or Friday so I'll post pics of those once I get them done.
Probably a dumb question but how do you post a picture that's in someone else's thread so it's not a link to the pic?

I've seen that brand around before, they make awesome BBKs, but I have no personal experience with them.
And you have money for rotors and pads and install but not for the A-Spec kit?

Haha. I was told I have no front pads anymore and my rotors are shot. Trust me, if I didn't have to have them, I wouldn't be buying them this close to Christmas.
And I'm hoping I can get the kit sometime next spring semester.

I plan on being in GA by the 21st so, there is a possiblity. If, some how I can get a pass from the wife...lol. I just got done doing a trans drain and fill and taping the M45 bumper and hood so if I do make it, I will be in that. I miss my TL-S!!!
Well I haven't bought the rotors yet. I pm'd brake motive to see if he could do anything for me on the spotted and drilled that he offers. Il be making the final decision when I get a reply from him.
Got some quick pics in my driveway this morning. I think they turned out really well and match the front Brembos pretty well.
And don't worry about the car, I know its dirty as hell.

I used JB Weld that I got from Lowe's to hold them on. What I did was put the cover on the caliper and see where it actually touched at and then put the JB Weld on those areas and then put the covers on. I used painters tape to hold the cover onto the caliper while the JB Weld set and left it there over night.
Here's a link to where I got them on eBay:

This is how I did mine too.
Nice work, those are definitely the Brembo covers I like the most for the rear. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up since painting all the brakes will be a spring or summer project for me.
Yea, I got these since they match the best with the front Brembos since there the smaller ones. It'd look funny having bigger brakes in the rear than I have in the front. Haha
Thanks buddy. I leave for school in 2 weeks but we should try to get together sometime before then.
I ended up going with Brakemotive's front rotors and pads. Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with them. They're noticeable more grabby (if that's a word) and I've already gotten compliments on how they look.
