I was actually disappointed with them lately...they've seemed forced and lackluster from my perspective. I appreciate the nice comments though!

We will not let you forget that decision.
I don't know if you've all picked up on the fact that I'm not happy about having given it up, right? Like, I don't need a reminder because I think about it every time I step outside and it's nice out and I want to drive it. The TL is splendid too, but the S was special.

Yea, but you're on the computer, not outside, so we feel the need to remind you
I remember when you came out of your cave...I was nothing but supportive about your blowing up of engines and selling of cars.
I regret that now.

What is that floor coating you have done to your garage?
I though it was just some kind of design, because I first saw it in Anil's house.
Never seen it in Boston

It's called rustoleum epoxy shield, Meko.
No chop top TL, too many water leaks!
Long weekend! Between Halloween parties and getting work done to the house...I'm beat.
Epoxy coating is down...ended up realizing that it wouldn't look "finished" until we added $180 worth of epoxy clear coats, but at $200 in already, didn't make sense to leave it half azzed. The patch/crack repair stuff is glossy in comparison to other areas of more absorption so I wasn't happy until we sealed all the flakes in and cleared. It looks phenomenal now and there'll be reflection of my car in it, which will be awesome.
A lot of work, but well worth it. A lot of wasted material too...550 sq foot garage, needed about 3 gallons with 1 wasted one. Same with the clear, used 1.5 gallons. Sucks to throw away that much, but I laid it on liberally knowing I wanted to do it once, and once only.
Results are great though!

this is the end result WITHOUT clearcoat with the anti-skid additive.
I'll get some shots of the finished results once it's all dry.

Also, gotta wait another week to park on it...they say 4 days, but I want to be sure the stuff is SUPER dry and cured before I rush to put stuff back on it. Should look nice with the reflections of the black cars on it.

ugh your living room is beautiful
I'm actually on avforums.com often and amazing ideas on there I wish to try out.
You're probably into that kind of stuff too seeing you're doing a lot of work around the house recently.
I think I'll be the one to say it, but most people on avforums would say the same thing - that TV looks like it should be bigger

Dennis, I'll talk you through it! It's easy...especially now that I have experience.
Meko, Steven, Thanh...thanks so much, fellas.
Nawwwwww man...that's a 60". I noticed when I take pictures with my wide angle it kinda shrinks down the middle a bit (same with the baby looking water heater in the next picture ). We bought it last year, if we go bigger, it'll be in a LONG time for now!
though...your comments really are appreciated, y'all.
Clear coat dry but curing!

Yea, that's a LOT of damn work. My garage had divits and cracks in it along with paint stains.
I opted for the easy route with a Sam's Club roll down floor. I still looks good after 4 years.

The click tile and roll out flooring was substantially more expensive...that's why I went this route.

^^^ There you go, Jeremy.....another fan!
Yes, you'll get a ton more satisfaction with what you did rather than mine. I love mine, just didn't have the inclination to put that amount of work into mine that you did.
