Something in these rims that older ones didn't have.
Spokes make themselves noticeable AND unnoticeable... looks like mysterious
I don't know how to explain it
Rear looks better seated with concaved rims
I bet you don't have a mirror in your house

Funny Meeks, I know exactly what you're talking about...the machined lip delineates the rim in the fender which I love, but the spokes are NOT such a stark contrast on the NBP so they are kinda ninjaish. ROlling, with the ADVAN in silver etc...it looks like all these different levels of spinning on a dish into concave, in love.
Thanks Ty...

The rims look amazing man! I can't imagine what else could possibly be done to make your car look better. I'm sure you'll a way though knowing you. Absolutely beautiful TL!
Thanks for the headlight help also. I got everything ready to finally do it. Really hope I can finally find sometime to do it this week.

Hey boys...thank you very much for the kind words...
I actually took that shot in various angles/cut offs...I kinda like these two.
Tyler, suck it.
Chris, awesome.
Oh, and do I miss my old spoiler. Not. A. Bit.
something still isn't right with Flickr

you know if the exhaust tips were more circular and less oval they would look perfect and not as small looking

They're round from dead on, but he cuts them slanted to match the flow of the bumper.
Justin, I'm always boozing BUT Flickr is fkd right now. You look on the site, they look fantastic, when you post the image, bam, potato cam resolution. I don't get it.
J.
Thanks Yum!

Okay, so now it's posting the high res and appending a low res attachment to it. WTF?
Anyway, you get the idea, quick Friday night impromptu shoot with the blooming poincianas.
In other news...one of my low beam hid's didn't fire right away last night, maybe ballast is getting there. And my passenger side bulb (ddm tuning, been running for 4 years now) is purple. Ordered some Osram CBI's 66240 on Saturday. Should be getting them in some time this week. Look forward to that improved lumens. I'm hoping they match!
I also ended up plastidipping my oem center caps with the raised chrome A...look cool. Since the hub axle nut sticks out past the wheel center, I had to use hub centric rings and clear rtv silicone to hold in place. I was okay with it, but they don't sit flush and you can see some of the the sealant. Temporary solution, but I was really shying away from paying all that money for the advan caps. Alas, if you're going to do it, do it right. So I ordered the hyper black mid height ones from vivid racing. I don't like the no contrast of the black, and the silvers was too stark a contrast according to the wife.
Here was my temp solution

I always love shots of a car at an angle and with the wheels turned out.
