nice work on the arm rest!

I was disappointed to see that the 07/08 hazard button doesn't fit my 04 vent, and you're facing the opposite scenario

Thanks, Thanh! YES, I am...super annoying because if I can't keep it all, I might as well leave it all on the black TL for sale.

Is the K1 spoiler staying with the black one or are you going to paint it kbp?

Staying with the black one...it's on there pretty good and I'd rather leave it. If I decide to redo it I'll get the heeltoe one. Honestly though, now that they're readily available...it'll almost be more unique to just leave the stock perfectly fitting/painted type s spoiler.

Keep the OEM spoiler, it's just the right amount of spoiler and fits the car/body design well IMO.

Yea but that already painted NBP K1 though...If someone buys the black beauty from AZ fine but if it's some joe smo getting that spoiler when he has no clue I'll be disappoint.

I'm with you on that...but most people that have shown interest are enthusiasts and I like that it sets it apart from other NBP TL's...
shoot, I guess if it came down to it, I could sell it to austin and just swap trunks.

We'll see...I'm trying hard not to scavenge too much off the car. I think with the high flow/rv6 w/special tips...sound system and csl spoiler it should be enough in addition to all the maintenance done to inspire someone to pay a premium for the car.

Yea. Premium still being mildly disappointing? Lol

I priced out my car last month. Bleh. It will be a decent part of my downpayment...

No doubt. It's just the value to us (3Gers/pedestal) and the value to others is so far apart it's tear inducing.

So, a couple of minor but labor intensive updates...

After troubleshooting and ordering new relays, I decided to scrap the wiring for the led DRL and hid fogs since the salt water had it's way with the relays and some of the terminal ends/fuses and wire loom. In the end, $45 for peace of mind and to start fresh in a climate that won't beat it up, was worth it. Especially since I took the time to tuck everything in and tire wrap/loom so you don't see it at all from under the hood. I have the relays/fuses accessible for easy troubleshooting down the line...but that's it. Also added the tilt/shock sensors.

Also, removed and cleaned up the EGR...painted the rusty base

After a debacle with the license plate and being given misinformation about my old American Red cross (Swiss flag mod! ) tag...I tried out this Save the Seas tag but I thought the shark looked cheesy and the blue clashed with KBP. I ended up going back to the American Red Cross tag and had to redo the flag. Oh well...old one looked dingy anyway so it was a nice rear end refresh.

After about 5 unsuccessful attempts to wrap the mirror...I gave up. Then, after putting the headlights back in, I decided I'm gonna have them cleared so they look new, and call it a day for now. I had old vinyl that wouldn't adhere well but matched sidemarker color well...then had one that would adhere but the color was brownish.

After some debate, I decided it was worth losing a few HP to get rid of the rasp...in addition to the rear PCD having a 3/4 around hairline crack. Contacted Rich () and we worked out a replacement deal to pay to upgrade to a re-worked set of HFPC with all new hardware. I do feel I'm missing a little raw power up top, but honestly, it's probably because I know I took a hit off that 303HP number. Probably placebo because she still feels strong and pulls nicely. Now, she really does sound fantastic...exotic car!

Wiring buttoned up and all lights working...don't love the amber led drl showing color when the lights are off, but overall, looks great.

Zero regrets about removing the amber...I loved it, but I love this look more...stands out from a stock car a bit more and still looks clean and classy. Glad I kept the chrome strip and went with gunmetal on the amber to match whatever wheels are on the car.

I do have a bit of rev hang due to the 3.7 intake, but it seems like it actually helps with not having to rev match since it's like it's blipping the throttle to keep the revs up slightly while up/down shifting.

Stage 3 clutch continues to be a challenge to drive smoothly and I'm almost positive the slight vibration I feel when accelerating and taking off in 1st (initial bite) is probably friction plate chatter (although I'm not read up on it enough to know for sure)...but overall...I think I need to just get used to the way it drives. One of these days I plan to go to Konrad at Accutech to have him drive it and give me his impression. Chip recommended ACT friction plate and oem clutch for a oem feel that drives nicely...not sure. We'll see. I really want a professional opinion, especially since he'll likely be addressing leaking steering rack swap and oil pump seal. We'll see...nothing major right now and I want to tackle things methodically.

Your KBP is looking way too good man... I've usually been hit and miss with particular headlight set-ups but yours looks awesome. Looks clean.

Really admire the way you take care of your car man
