J; I've heard of people doing that in other states and have gotten by with it. Here in Va If its not on the front bumper, you'll get pulled over. Glenn of course is a lucky SOB and has had his in his windshield forever and hasn't been bothered. But then again his car is a garage queen and he drives 3 miles to work
She is my garage queen!! however i would want no one to see her right now... driving back from richmond to help my buddy drop a new motor in his parents mustang in the snow, and she is gross looking right now... May have to wash it tonight before i start playing with my new pool table.

I run no plate what so ever on my VA registered car lol. The second brand new plate is on top of my spare tire under the trunk carpet.

Haven't been messed with yet on any of my trips back to VA. Debating buying the motorized swift plate holder though. I've passed plenty of cops and they don't even bat an eye though.

Haha JNC; you are correct.

I ended up picking those up from the BM. Met the dude half way and traded my perfect condition A-Specs for these Vossens.

It took me 3 sets of Aspec wheels to put together a perfect set of 18x8 ebony chrome rims with brand new Michelin Pilot sports...I planned on making those my stockies and keeping them forever for the Type-S, but this trade came up quickly and so far I don't regret losing them; although I'm sure I will. I never wanted to get 19s since the ride quality was so shitty with my old works, but shit man, these are Vossens! I just couldn't pass it up; they rarely pop up on the or anywhere else used; whereas aspecs are basically the new "stock" wheel; everyone whose anyone's already got them.

SO to be clear, these are 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear Vossen CV3's in Graphite.

I may throw them on this week if the weather isn't too ridiculous just to see what they look like without the car being lowered.

Came out of the mall and saw this. It looks like I'm on the line but I'm not. I had to take the picture angled so I could show how close. If I did it directly above it looked like his car was on top of/overlapping mine.

Discuss.

IMO, you are over the line.

In his defense, He is likey driving a large vehicle (silverado, tahoe, or suburban). I make it a point to park far out away from anyone, when possible. Your car is small, no need to pull all the way forward into the parking spot

I own a large/long vehicle and I know what it like to have to squeeze into small parking places. vacation is always a "job" when trying to park our SUV daily in a small parking structure.

On the other hand, nice type-s, carry on

^^^ the chevy was definitely cruising, for bruising

Q, I usually end up parking a good 6 inches away from the line (on my side ofcourse)....some people who dont know how to drive and get over the line, they might hit u and if they leave before you come out of the mall, you have a bruised bumper and no one to put the blame on....

same applies for curbs...being low has taught me long ago to park away from em....

I do this too. I also park my car far away from an entrance. There's certain lots that people don't park their car. Cause it's far... and I don't mind walking.

I came out of home depot thinking, that F250 sure does look close to my car, but forgot to check. Won't worry, he had parked his trailer hitch on my front bumper. If I had noticed, he would have had me call the cops to report it for the insurance.

Had a very productive weekend with Glenn pics coming soon.

As for that truck; I wasn't over the line but regardless of that in VA I was told my by insurance company a while back that if someone hits your car while its parked, it's automatically their fault. Even if you are parked illegally. So it would have been his fault.

I took lots of pics and whatnot but honestly thee wasn't much I could do. There would have been no way to prove if I hit him or if he hit me; and even if the cops came they don't have authority to issue a ticket on private property so I just got in my car and left.

My front freshly painted bumper has a few blemishes but what can you do. Im waiting for spring so I can give the car a wash clay bar wax and buff. I haven't even hand washed it yet since I bought it

I agree...but that's the fun of it. That awkward moment when you meet in person and wonder whether or not it's all been a joke or if you should start butt clenching to avoid entry.
