Progress Thread

Honestly, I like it with and without the spoiler. The spoiler looks ten times more aggressive when the car is slammed.

I like it without....it looks clean-er IMO....Meko, you get the idea

I am glad we all have different taste, else all our cars would have looked the same and we did be fighting over the same chic

Wow John
Don't know what to say
Let's go low

Thanks for the chops John
this is my driveway

That's right Anil, at least money goes to vendor...
I'll pm him but I need some time to buy these

When do I need a camber kit? After 1.5"

But for you, when summer comes, will put back the lip for one week, and then no spoiler for another week, and then back to wing

Have to move these here, can't take my eyes off

Yeah, any more than 1.5" and you should be running some camber kits. Don't worry about your driveway, mine is worse than that. You just have to remove that plastic shield that's under the front bumper. That gives you like 2" of extra clearance lol, and of course you'll need to have your fenders rolled.

and the engine temps went wayyy up north !!! the ECU will pulling timing like crazy until I did some more mods to get more air into the bay and lower those temps....about the camber kit, I agree with John....I chewed through a set of Falkens in 15-16K miles....get the camber kit, it will pay itself off eventually
and I bet everyone will agree with drop before rims (just putting it out there so you dont get any cute ideas
)
you really think that little plastic piece is responsible for your engine temps skyrocketing?

^^^
....that was the only "mod" I did that day and next day (similar weather conditions) the car was lacking power....on viewing the logs, I saw that the ECU was pulling timing (almost pulling 20-30degs of timing)....
I posted this in some thread and there were couple members who asked me to put rubber shield (
) back....IHC/Innacurate/ either Peter or Villo (one of them posted as well)...
am not saying, the only function of that thing is to push more air upwards....but yes, one of the main reasons why its there.....
this was more noticeable in city driving than highway

I removed it as the jack would get stuck and be a pain to come out....and thought of saving the extra 1lb

worst part, that is the only part which I took off as a part of the diet and didnt store it...thrashed it and regretted that in the next 2 days....well we live and learn
Suspension loves moneyI don't know, I love stock rims, if I change my mind, it would be A-Spec rims
Wondering now. Will go under and check how that little piece of a plastic pushes air in there.Really?
Post them
Thanks Steven... here couple moreWent to night skiing with dad and his friends
Got out of school. Snow

See Austin^
He will route everyway to slam the TL
Started with chops
As long as tires match, I am good
I don't like one is inside the fender and other one not..
I mean sides and top
Forget A-Spec rims
I want this

First wheel gets my vote. That was a contender in my hunt for wheels. I like them a lot.
And yes, John is crazy
surprised the man isn't on airbags yet. "Needs moar low, yes, low, moar lowar."
I'll be there soonish

Or be baller like me and get both at the same time
Worked great that day lol
Lifted car, took out stock susp. and put in coilover, then put the wheel on and lower back down. Next corner!

Makes the install very smooth, when you're done you have new wheels and tires as well as a drop

Everyone here said to lower the car first and get wheels later but to me that's back ass wards
(see what I did there?) I'd rather get the wheels I want and lower it accordingly, but, to each their own.
Lucky me I got all my stuff within one week so it all worked out. The wheels took about 2 months and by the time the coils were ordered the wheels shipped also.
If you can't do both, get the coils first and then wheels, and I'm only saying this because those Enkei Raijin wheels you picked out will work with a 2.5" drop or even more, they're not very aggressive unless you add spacers.

Lowered and rims sitting inside? No way, ugly
If I can, I will buy rims in summer
I like the axis too. Would be a beauty on b5 s4 but..
