200 is good actually for 3 morning warm ups, light traffic sometimes to work and a little city

Straight highway would be like 220 i think

HA, I'm lucky to get 150 miles at a half tank...but I think that's attributed to my lead foot and the 6MT.

Although I will say that with my jpipe, high flow cats and exhaust, I saw about a 3 mpg improvement. I used to get 18 or so...now, I average about 21.

All highway you should get around 240-ish in a half tank....all city around 160-170 is decent enough...so mix should be around 200 ish and you are right there.....

glad you decided to slow down

 

MEKO, I'm loving this Stage 3, ~$150 bucks for the resonator and the labor...

not that I don't remember, I am positive I never did 200 miles inside the borders of MA before
at worst I was doing 150
but filling up on Monday morning before work, I was usually doing 170-175 with half tank
So that jumped to 200 now

All I did, no flooring, no intake no Stage II, and speed limit
well, did 85-87 sometimes, but that was the flow of traffic, no more speeding

But first time I saw 200 in MA
on the way to NH NY whatever, no matter what you pass 200 with half tank

Here is a story...
the worst mpg I had, I am serious, the worst of 6 years
couple weeks ago I had to do traffic count at RI
from 6am to noon
some of you might remember

Google map said 95 miles but!!! 1 hour 55 minutes
Takes long because speed limit is low and you pass from downtown blah blah

At night filled the tank
Saying to myself that I will only go with the speed limit and check how many miles half tank will do
I missed the alarm at 3am
Mom woke me up at 4:55
I jumped to TL at 5:00
At the location at 6:00

Dude, 100 miles and needle was almost at half tank alllmost
Thank god 75mph roads were clear as hell, was about to take the car to cruise control at 110-120 dude hahaha

but passing from downtown providence at RI is at most 55, sometimes even 45
I am just praying for no cops while doing 80+
I had to dude, I was screwed if I passed 6am

anyways that was my worst mpg haha

I went from KC (Kansas City) to STL (St Louis), right around 290 miles in 2hours and 57 minutes....usually i am on cruise and it takes me 3 hours and 20 minutes but this time around the ex-girl had gotten into an accident and I had to rush back....averaged right around 100mph for 3 hours LOL

yes, I did use up almost the full tank of gas...usually i there in a little more than 1/2 tank.... (240 miles per half tank)

280 miles...got home in 2 hours 26 minutes. 110 most of the way...
This was in my previous car. 05 BOM RSX-S.

Yeah, my story was from 2007 or so. I was MUCH less mature back then. I am not afraid of speed, but I am afraid of paying a lot more money in fkn tickets.

 

If I deserved it i wouldn't mind but i hate how it bumps up the insurance cost

its not about cost and money and insurance....all the money in the world can be earned....its about life...

if you end up dead or end up killing someone....the rest of your family's/your life will be a sad event....

Speeding like this isn't just about the insurance costs, its about putting others on the road around you at immediate risk. You may feel as though you're in control off a 3500lb sedan doing 130mph, but those around you are not expecting a car with a 70mph closing speed to fly past them. I honestly hope to god that you come to your senses before something bad happens - and Im not talking about being pulled over.

If there was a fast car, yes I was running after him. Not anymore (didn't go after that TL)

The real point I made myself stop was driving quick.
I drive so quick, get in here and there
Accel. fast, especially in city.
+ to hear the intake and exhaust
Stage II roars afterr 2500K
MPG drops too of course

So that I really stopped doing
I really don't do stupid things on highway
When I dooo, it's usually at night ifff another car comes up but not anymore
Saving gas holds me, that's my excuse
Of course health of other people comes first but we are people, when you are about to enjoy somthing, you forget the health or I don't know, you guys got me

But gas holds me know, saving money
and promising to you guys hehe

 

If you post another vid doing over 80 we're getting the gang together and your TL will be on blocks the next morning
