Yeah, I am going to concur with others here, triple digit speeds on public roads is a big no no, we all have been stupid time to time but I'd suggest to quit it while you are ahead

BTW let me know if you need to source decent bulbs for the MDX, those old Phillips and the old style Osrams loose their intensity quite a bit over a few years of use.

^You gotta hit 150 Austin

Ok I will quit straight road runs if a car comes up, seriously
but If It's like 2-3am in the morning and a 335i, G37 comes up
I will do straight run to record it
Did screw a 335coupe once you guys know it I found the guy but didn't record it

If there is nice traffic and a guy want's to run, can't stop that
but if I record it and it's a good run in traffic like at least 2 minutes

I will be done
Deal

Oh and also 2 cars in my black list from downtown
Red B6 S4
White 335i Sedan
I won't listen anything

They will remember 34 MKO 34

---

JnC, thanks dude but I don't know what my dad is thinking about that car, that's why I didn't want to put anything good on it

If you want the thrill then take your car to the track, we have one here in NH. I am very familiar with the roads you are pulling those speeds on and honestly am amazed as to how you havent been caught by any of the MA state troopers. Just because someone wants to race you doesnt mean you have be an idiot and take them up on their offer.

As a friend, I'd suggest to slow down now and learn from others mistake rather than making one yourself.

Thanks dude
Yeah swoosh even texted me about this too

I thought sometimes it's ok to hit the pedal depending on the good conditions
Could be at night, open road and etc...
But will quit that to save gas especially
Dude to be honest I try to but TL just doesn't let me
Friends says the samething, the audi, bmw, benz guys
Can't go slow with this car unlike germans, pedal is pulling you, that quick response

I travel a lot and pay too much for gas (just made payment of the credit card)
OK I do atleast 340miles per tank but will try to do more by slowing

Cops? I drove everyday from those roads like you, I just know when they are not there
To be honest It might be stupid but I swear I just feel it, something inside says there will be a cop and there happens to be one
OR
whenever I do speed, I see a cop that stopped another car. This happened more than 20 times, I even have one video of it after I did a run.
but doesn't mean it will happen always, I hate and never talk big

My dad would kick my ass if I get cought anyway
Will do just like my dad, cruise control at 74mph haha

PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TL might have a new friend sitting inside most of the time
and I totaly drive slow when there is girl in my car

Edit:
Oh and Benz guy, idiot test drove my car in Brookline after I replaced the engine mounts
Idiot cought by speeding in city, and they took him in for 4 hours
and paid 200$
You know how Brookline cops are

No way that I want that

Meko no matter how much you try to quantify and reason your speeding on the road its honestly, wrong !!!

nights/open road whatever it is....do you know what is the speed rating on your tires? a bump/a small nail which blows your tire could end up taking several lives....

slow down bud....just

I do my share of speeding so I won't lecture, but I do agree that I should slow down. I just love the feeling of acceleration and I have the sickness where if I'm going with the flow of traffic, I feel like I'm standing still. I need to learn my lesson.

Jeremy....doing 75 in a 60-65 is acceptable....similarly a 50 in a 40 is also acceptable....but doing 100+ on a 65-70 and doing it constantly seems like a little dangerous as controlling the car at those speeds def gets tricky....

I dont do speed limit or within limit all the time....I am usually doing 10 odd mph more than the posted limit....but I very rarely cross the 100mph mark and i bet you do it rarely as well.....thats exactly I wanted to tell Meko....that do speed, but dont do 100+ all the time....ya know....

10% rule.....

If its a 35 zone, you can do 38. If its a 65 zone, you can do 71. Thats typically the rule that cops go by.

Thanks for listening, Meko .

Call me paranoid if you will but it doesnt seem like a great idea to have public youtube channel with videos of your TL's license plate showing and doing triple digit speeds on public road.

yup thats what i wish i did....i usually go by the 20% rule LOL

on a 40-45mph zone, I usually catch myself cruising at 55-ish (no more)....and on the highway 65-70 (here in KS), I tend to do between 75 and 80 (again no more)....

on a side note, am glad meko decided to slow down....now the passenger(s) can stop having heart failures

Hey hey JnC!!!!!!!!!!!
https://www.facebook.com/events/2246..._mall_activity

If you guys ask me there are nowspeed limits
ok ok ok ok

but that's true, in US, cops care about how the traffic flows
unless it's end of the month and they have to fill the gap to catch cars,
they have limit they should pass every month
See I forgot to tell that, I don't do speed around last week of the month

This morning I saw 3 cops on the way to office.
Positive will be so many because they all slept during last week.
And almost end of the month is here.

If it's totaly a State highway, like nothing is around
coming from NY at night and no cars on road, cops don't go crazy about 80mph

haha JnC you guys could see the videos because you have the link
people go to my channel can't see it
eeeh plus I don't car

Anilbhai yeah bro, I filled this morning, and did 60miles today, needle just passed the "Full Level" just a little
No more flooring and passing 74
If no car's behind, just like 69mph or 70 so I save more gas

JnC if you go to that track at NH let me know okeeeey???
Don't they only have drag tho?

dude I don't really really love speed on a empty road for nothing, well unless it's in NH or up there nice roads
I love fast turns way more
Ok I got stock suspensions but 20mm rearbar really is a big difference
Storrow Drive is good
and some parts of Memorial drive

Edit: Well ^^^ that needs speed to
Ok no more that also

Edit2 : ahaaa ^^^ my tires would last longer

I've never heard this before. Usually, in the city, you can go 5 mph over the posted limit with not trouble. 6 miles per hour over and you better have your head on a swivel looking for cops.

Even on the highway, I've always been told that you can go 5 mph over the speed limit, but not 6 mph....

Heard 10% rule but did anyone get a ticket by passing a cop with 75mph? Don't think so

^^^ well a cop in st louis gave me a ticket going 36 on a 35....so it basically depends on their mood....all you can do is be careful....usually when i see a cop i try to slow down and not pass him unless he is doing below limits....

anyway post some pix of your car and get the thread back on topic !!!

I recently got my 2nd speeding ticket this year...after 9 years of not getting one.
It actually SAYS on the ticket that 5 mph over is a warning at police discretion. Anything over that is speeding and billed accordingly.

I'm going to court for it on Monday. I hope they just give me court fees for my usual "adjudication withheld" ruling.

MEKO, get you some vinyl that makes the paint look like it's being ripped off. When people ask about it you can tell them it's from doing 130 and Honda's paint is too soft. haha

Thank you sir!!
JnC did them for me

v3 which is total black out
but leaving the inner of the ring chrome
also painted the cover for the fog bulb
black is matte black, not gloss

Painted the ring with cppper orange VHT paint which rockstar143 brought up
Did black sunshade spray VHT for the orange difusers

ZKW-r is a must anyway

So what is the difference between black out v2 and v3?

And do you have any loss in light output with the VHT?

Last one - what bulbs?

Thanks!

v3 leaves the inside of the ring as it is, chrome
Can you see it from the pic?
Back of the ring is chrome
Section between the ring and the lens

Light output for the signals? Of course but not really, just gave it a smoked orange which I kind of liked

Bulbs for signal or hid?
Osram CBI

I have these for the signal/parking

I don't remember the part number

I love the look of them. I bet the shade would interfere with my switchbacks tho.

And I had a feeling you were going to say CBIs. I'd love a pair of those. Selling yours?

I think shade is totaly black color, not like brownish
Since you also have clear diffuser, I guess it'll just reduce the output a little

I won't sell them, unless there is something better
