But thank you! I am wondering now, that picture above looks like the more goldish bronze color. Maybe it's just the photo...there are like 3 different shades between the gold, bronze, and copper.

Morgan, include Switzerland. You won't be disappoint.
Switzerland is definitely on the last.

Intake cover
I will paint that to orange for sure, and painting the spacer might be too much

Thought like v3 headlights
Orange bezel but middle left chrome

So I left the spacer chrome
Engine cover and intake will be orange on both side

Good idea?

+

Now my intake sits better, right in front of the air pipe... I like
I also cleaned the throttle, inside was black as hell, not only black, there was some kind of dirt stuck on the surface
Now clean and smooth

To be honest, first thing I will say about this spacer is POSITIVE as hell it does put torque on the car
That's the first thing I will say
So easy to notice, don't think anyone will say they can't notice it or not
I am that serious

...Thanks, that's my 85 year old Grandmother, sister, Betty and myself. That was July of 2011.

I miss Switzerland. I wish it was closer and cheaper to fly to.

Nice job with the spacer, bud...looks great and I agree, I noticed it immediately too!

I think you might need a bit more contrast with the intake plate though, no?
I sanded mine and did it in black, then sanded off the letters again to make them silver again.

It does look nice, and I agree I do need it
I'll prob. paint it after the calipers.

Yeah couldn't do the calipers yet wasn't at home yesterday
Would it be easy to paint without taking off the calipers?
Because too cold outside and I can't take em off inside the garage, too small

--

Was black as hell.
Never thought about cleaning it until I saw it

Opening the throttle with hand makes the check engine light come up right?
I openned it with the pedal
Turned the ignition on, and hit the gas, it opens it
Easier to clean the middle... of course did it after everything installed

What if you turn off the key, while pressing the pedal
Would the throttle still be open? Didn't try it

Gotcha, Actually, I painted mine on the car...I used a grocery bag over the rotor...and then newspaper underneath the caliper and painters tape on everything else.

ditto with India dude....miss being back home and watch the kids grow up and the elderly, grow old

and the airfare is just ridiculous, off season you are looking at around $1300-1400 per person....but the plus side is, once you go there everything else is very cheap....

first off, do it once and do it right....so take them calipers off to paint em...

second, you dont need to hit the gas to open up the TB, when you turn the key to ignition, the butterfly opens up for a couple of seconds and you can spray clean it with seafoam in a bottle (forgot the name of the product, deep creep something).....

That's it, Deep Creep.
Honestly, I doubt you'd be able to tell I painted the calipers on the car. You can do it carefully, although it is pretty easy to remove.

I didn't spray anyhting to inside, cleaned it with a towel
Installed everything back
Then I openned the "butterfly" and friend sprayed something there and cleaned it
He brought a white spray can. I was thinking it was throttle cleaner or something?

I hate taping takes too much time but I don't want to remove the calipers and can't inside the garage.
I'll paint them on the car for now.
When I change my brakes after winter I guess
I'll take em out repaint them

Saw the new vendor's thread
Rotors look nice but I think Brakemotive is cheaper
Couldn't find the prices but, saw a 50$ charge for painting the hub front of the rotor

UH oh, you hate taping AND you don't want to remove them...you're going to end up with a fun looking caliper area!

hahaha, what J said....

Meko, why dont you wait until Spring when you are changing your brakes (rotors, pads, etc) coz your calipers will be off and you can just spray it and put it back on the car

I will be patient and tape it pretty well
After I did my grille, I said this no more but guess not
but I did a clean job on it.
Was so hard to keep inside one color and outside frame one color.
Can't tape the inside thinking it might stick to tape...oh god
anyways haha

Edit:
Bro that's right but I don't know why don't I at least give it a orange look, and I'll repaint it after winter while changing brakes.
I'll see, if it's easy to tape that area, I'll do it

I hate to tape too, to be honest, but a piece of newspaper wrapped around the rotor, and rotated until it's sitting under the caliper, a couple of grocery bags wrapped around major areas held in place with tape, and some tape on the little bleeder nipples and various nuts/bolts. That's it...took me 10 minutes to prep.

Make sure you brush off with a wire brush, sand so the caliper has a bite to it...and then wipe down with rubbing alcohol, once that dries, paint!

Driver side is blind on MDX
Bulb doesn't work and I have no idea if it's the bulb or the ballast, mom says she had no idea the bulb was out

It's same bulb as my TL right?
I will put my stock bulb and test it

I don't want to buy these, since Q7 might come up

They should be D2S.

Personally, I wouldnt run anything but Phillips or Osram bulbs. Theyre what OEMs use and they are quality. I run the Morimoto bulbs in the FR-S, and there are inconsistencies with the construction that I easily pick up, and those inconsistencies show when it comes to output.

Most likely the bulb. If the ballast were faulty theyd typically flicker for a bit.

Soooooo many modded cars outside at highway
Was coming from Boston with Suburban
New STI with sick ass exhaust and Volvo S60R passed me with atleast 120 hahahaha
Couldn't resist and took my TL and ran to the highway

M3 coupe passed me so fast, I didn't even see him coming, went after him caught him because he slowed down at 0:40 but then I didn't who are you to pass me like that

I saw like 138 or 139mph, what the heck is the limit on this car

but I was scared with these stupid suspensions

Ramps again
Best spots to listen the exhaust and intake hehe

Holy fuck, MEKO. 140 is hauling ass. Surprised you even took the TL to that.

I believe the limit on the 06 TL is like 145 or 150...

^^^ the limiter was changed in later model cars....i think the 06+ are limited to 132 something and the 04-06 are limited to 152-ish....I have hit 140 on the TL and its scary as FAWK !!!....never again....the car would keep going but I gave up.....I have a pic at 134-ish, let me try to dig it up

Meko, I do foresee you slowing down....i was the same way when I bought the TL....drove it like i stole it EVERYTIME.....after 2-3 years of ownership, i slowed down and now I drive spirited most of the time and like i stole it, only when am running seriously late LOL....

I am back after 2 days

Austin!!! What is that image

Wasn't exactly 140 but verrye little bit on top of it like 139
Lines are so fast at 0:40

Heey Anil, don't you hear, I take off my foot from pedal while passing cars
I don't know it's not that scary but when these beatifulllll highways have bumps in MA, and you pass them with these stock suspension
That's scary

but I drive slow though, seriously, I always flow with the traffic
that's why got only one ticket in my life

oh..unless I see a fast car on the road
and that's not often

I replaced bulb of MDX with my TL's old one
TL had Osram stock
MDX had this Philips

Saw this beauty last night on the way to downtown
I swear to God it sounded exactly like this thing
You could hear it from the video too

and again happy Thanksgiving everyone
I was with my friends, They got no family here
+
All my relatives live back at home
So my parents called their friends over
and I jump to my friends house
Turkish and Greek friends
Was such a nice evening

Again, Benz, Audi, Acura of course
but no BMW, he had to work

Don't have the picture of the table yet
