Drop first...rims second. Looks really good though. Get a-spec to top it off!

Very nice love the black rims. But yeah bad thing about black rims is that the tires must be shined up 24-7. Cant wait for the drop

Might I ask what was it per wheel to get done?

Corupt, a couple of the guys had a good suggestion about the Aspec Kit. It would really set your TL off right. There is a group buy for Aspec Kits from a new sponsor on Acurazine-here is the link:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/new-acura-dealer-aspec-kit-group-buy-%24775-shipped-update-dates-extended-766707/

Consider it-I think it will be a great addition to your TL.

I payed $75 a wheel for them to be powder coated. The place was local to me.

Where in SJ are you? I get down there a couple times a year (Cumberland County) and I'll keep a lookout for an AM with black wheels.

I've got an AM myself but it's bone stock exterior wise except for a catback.

Usually not a fan of black wheels, but yours look good.
I see you got the Type-S sidemarkers---I think the Depo ones would be better for the Dark-on-AM theme you got going, as well as Type-S tails to darken up the back a bit.
Looking good! Another AM Brutha!

Some type S tails are coming just not sure when. But not a fan of the depo sidemarker lights. Like the nice clean flow of the type S ones.

CORUPT, What size tires are on your wheels? and where did you get you AEM V2? I cant seem to locate one... All I get on searches is a standard AEM CAI. Thanks for your time bro...

The tires are a 245/35/19 and for the aem v2 you can get it from heeltoe auto or excelerate performace. They both have them.

that's a great price for the powdercoat. i was calling some local places to get my spare set of chrome aspec wheels powdercoated and they ranged from like 75-125. the higher end prices were for a base coat and then a clear.

i like your wheels but then again i am a little biased

do you know if they did a base then a clear?

Base and a clear would be automovotive paint. Powder coating is a powder sprayed on with a negative charge then baked. No clear involved.
