New guy, NBP Type S

Hi guys, Im still learning about the TL. I am a lowered mini trucker guy. I bought my wife the TL-S a couple years ago, but recently I have been wanting to mod the hell out of it.. lol

A few questions. I still dont see a difference in the A-spec body kit and the TL-S kit. any help?

I want to lower it, how do these ride with coils?

There is not such thing as a Type-S Kit. The A-Spec kit is the OEM underbody spoiler kit that comes pre-painted from the factory. There is a group buy going on "here" where you can get the kit at a discounted price.

Sick car man. The type s kit is the Type S A-spec kit. Then there is also a base TL A-spec kit. The front on the Type S kit is a bit different than the base front, it is more aggressive looking. The rear is different in that the Type S one is wider to fit the quad exhaust, while the base is narrower for the base exhaust tips. The sides are the same. These kits are OEM, made by Acura.

Love the car and the color !

I always thought the extra bulk of the type S lip to be too much. As a designer I appreciate the fluid look of the A spec. Its a little more aggressive looking but not too much. I have an A spec kit on my SSM 6MT and the look is perfect after I lowered it.

ha ha. Thats Denise, a czech supermodel. She's...lovely.

I lowered my $hit with Tein S tech springs on Koni blues(among a couple other mods). Its not quite aggressive as all the other rides in the bay area but
i'm cool with it because I scrape a lot even though I drive really carefully. I am hoping to acquire a set of advan's and hopefully be done...for a while.

Czech it:

thats clean man. How is the ride on springs? Where in the bay are you? Im in the east bay.

Thanx man, The ride is actually great ! I would rate it as good as stock springs but I think the shocks have more to do with the ride quality
than the springs. I went with the Koni's because they were slightly higher performance than stock but still soft enough for a decent ride.

In live in the north-bay(Napa) but I work in Orinda(east bay) and will probably be moving to the walnut creek area soon. You can find me
all over the bay and the Sacramento valley area. Throw the fingers if you see me !

Oh and keep us all posted on your mods !
