Another LED Conversion!

I was at first afraid of it looking cheesy, but after about 10 minutes I was done and I couldnt be happier. It was EXTREMELY easy, and is well worth it.

For some reason, my camera didn't like feel like capturing the amount of light. It is so much brighter in person, yet not too bright. Also, they look very blue but that is not the case, more of a clean white. And here is what I bought which were all perfect sizes.

For the Door Lights/Backseat Lights:

For the Front Map Lights:

thanks for the part numbers and info. I have been wanting to do this for a while but always unsure of which one to get. Did you just buy two sets of the first one for the doors and the back seat lights? Stupid question i know....lol

I was in the same position you were, I've wanted to get these for awhile I just couldn't find anything cause it mainly consisted of expired ebay links. But yes, that is exactly what I did. If you are wanting to do your vanity lights too I would buy two pairs of each cause im almost 100% sure that the vanity lights are the same ones as the map lights. Im also going to buy a pair for my license plate but I have havent found out yet how to do it/what size to buy.

These are what I use in my license plate lights---over a year and still going strong.

I think that since these bulbs 1) are lower wattage and 2) have a built in heatsink, they will last longer.

The dome lights, door lights and license plate lights are all the same style bulb. The 921's you mentioned are for the reverse lights.

I would just go with the same size as me cause I had no fitment issues and they are plenty bright. If you were wanting to get red, that's fine just make it's the same size as what I got. I suggest either vleds or superbrightleds

Bumping this back up but at least I'm searching. haha
I've searched through the V-Leds website and just wanted to make sure I'm buying the right ones.

These are the ones I found for the front map lights- http://www.v-leds.com/RED-6-LED-FLAN...-p6053723.html
(^ I doubled up on this so I would have some for the vanity lights by the visor?)\

These are the ones I found for the rear map lights and for the door puddle lights-http://www.v-leds.com/RED-X5-HIGH-POWER-LED-p6704683.html
(I would need to buy 3 sets of these to so I can have them in all 4 doors and in the rear map lights?)

Thanks for the help guys.

Honestly I think any 168/194 bulb fits in almost every location doors dome trunk dome license plate light and even reverse lights I personally used the old ones from a previous car. I got them from ijdmtoy

This is correct. People make it a little more complicated than it really is by buying different style 168/194 wedge LED's for each location in the car, but in reality, you could just buy like 5 pairs of the exact same style bulb and be done with it.

Does it matter if they're the panel style or the tower LED's?

^No, that's my point. The tower-style LED's are usually cheaper, so I'd just buy those for everything. Besides, I think the panel-style LED's are too bright....don't need to feel like I'm at the dentist every time the dome/map lights come on. The only panel-style LED I have in my car is the trunk light and the only reason I got it is because it was on clearance on VLED's site.

Looks good, I just orderd a bunch of 194 LEDs to do this myself, but man does that irk me when people put their registration sticker in the wrong place, see the indent on the top left and your sticker bottom right? Even worse when they put them all over the plate.
