First off, the car looks GREAT.
Lowering the car w/ just springs will cause problems eventually (I am already experiencing some of these). I without new/upgraded shocks, the stock shocks get worn quickly and are subject to blow out. I find my car really bouncy now compared to when I first got springs (about 10 mo. ago). Good adjustable dampening shocks will be my next upgrade on my TL.

Hn R Shocks on 02 TL
I had HnR sports on my 02 TL for 50,000 miles and never had problems with shocks. The ride was awsome! I even got 42,000 miles on the tire with not a bit of camber problem. HnR rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stock shocks will work a lot harder and a lot longer now with the aftermarket springs, causing premature wear.

my guess is that most of the traveling was on the springs and hardly on the shocks, thats why it last so long.
It all depends on what kind of driving you do, stock shocks will wear out quicker with springs, but if your the type to baby your car and only drop it 1 inch for looks you'll be ok for a while. If your the type to slam your car three inches and beat the $hit out of it you can blow them in about 2 hours( I've done it). I say if your gunna do it, do it right the first time. Get some teins!!!
I also dropped my previous car 2000 Honda Prelude White Pearl 2 1/4 inch front and 2inch rear for 4yrs with over 100k miles and had no issue or problems with the OEM shocks. I had H&R racing springs and it was all good.
