Thumbs up Lots Of Pics Inside!!!!!!

I haven't been on the boards lately, but i finally got around to taking some decent pics with the Enkei LM1's on. A few people, actually almost everybody said these wheels would NOT fit because i have 6spd, brembos, ect ect. Well, with some research, i made it happen and it was easy. I'm mainly posting this thread for the manual guys because alot of people feel they are limited to what wheels they can put on their TL's with brembos.

The Car:
04 Abyss Blue Pearl TL
6spd

The ingridients:
I ordered 2 pairs of TC Sportline 15mm wheel spacers, which equals about 1 1/2 inches thickness,, i admit, i was nervous that this was not going to work because of all the responses i had gotten on here. I clear the Brembos perfectly and as an added bonus i have a wider stance now not like mexican truck stance if your thinking that. so onto the pics, here are the spacers

These wheels are Chrome 18" x 7.5 Enkei LM1/5s's that have a +45 offset, the wheel spacers brought my offset to +30 this thing hugsssss the road now i love it,, and i didnt' sacrifice any ride quality.
Here is the finished product, enjoy,, all of the pics were taken with my cell phone, not bad for a phone

not bad. I'd be alittle scared with spacers. Definately lower it now.

why did you need spacers with 18" wheels? do you have any vibration?

Nice work. How are you liking the 3G compared to your old 2G?

because the offset of the wheels are +45 which is too high, and the design of the wheel, the spacers give me a much lower offset and the clearance to pass the brembo calipers. I don't know if you knew or not, but 6spd TL's have larger brake calipers in the front.

Thanks, i'm loving this car, it's a world of a difference, the power, the quality of the materials, the ride quality.

I think now all i need is 20% tints and an A-spec body kit anyone have any mod suggestions?

I had the exact same wheels as you, except I had the silver and 18 x 8, not chrome. I just didn't like the vibration at 75 mph from the hub rings. Next mod you should get is the Eibach Pro-kit springs. Drop is about 1".

i read that your backseats have to come out for the springs to be put in? my concern would be my interior getting messed up by the guys putting the springs in,, anyone with a bad experience?

Yes the back seats do come out. Just make sure they press the clips for the bottom seat cushion. My guys just pulled the bottom cushion out and broke the clips. They bought and installed new ones, but the seat was unusable for a couple of days.
