I've used the OEM plastic holder and bought some "L" metal brackets and screws to hold the plastic holder through the 2 screw holes and attach it from underside of the bumper.

when you take off the holder, you won't see any screw holes on the bumper as well.

Damn Sam...

I don't know how in the hell I've overlooked this thread... your progress is CRAZY!!! You do some real clean Modifications like Kennedy & jptl04... Things that wouldn't be obvious to a regular car enthusiast...

Great Work... Love the Lights, Wheels and Drop... Perfect Color Combination... There's something about WDP Owners...

Keep up the Great Work...

Car looks great, those headlights are legendary man!

I noticed you have LED DRLs like me. I assume they are the tower 9006 LEDs from V-LEDs right? Are you using the DesignTech DRL module with it? If so I have a question.......do your fogs stay on at like 20% power when the car is off? I seem to be the only one with this lighting combination and it looks like you seem to be the only one similar. It is drawing a bit of power even when the car is turned OFF. I have had it like this for 2 yrs. Technically my lights are on 24/7! I kinda like it because it looks like the car is sleeping with it's eyes half open at night. I doubt it is drawing even 1 watt. so it hasn't been draining my battery much so I don't mind......I wonder am I the only one like this?

They were done professionally, took a week to get them finished.

First you need to thin sand them abit, paint them black first, let them dry....then add the chrome on top....

it's the same method as black chrome finish for some rims out there.

thanks man! apparently lots of people missed this thread for some reason...hehe...

I do have the LED DRL from V-LEDs. I have no problem with them whatsoever. My TL is a Canadian model, our fogs doesn't stay on with 20% power when the car is off. Also our fogs area (our DRL) doesn't have the shield as well, so driving the day time look really good especially from far away. I wish I have a better camera to show these beauties....but they look 100 times better in person.

ed99 has them for this TL as well, he loves them!

well guys,
it has been a while, haven't posted for a long long time...summer is nearby and time to start modding again!!
bought a roll of 3M DI-NOC enough to cover the roof of the vehicle. I've already started warping my interior piece by piece thanks to jamie (jpt04). this stuff is addicting!! lol

here are some pictures of what i've done for our front bumper "ACURA" emblem, they're all stainless steel material CAD design exactly to fit our front bumper area:

The letter on the top is polished clearcoated stainless steel, middle is warped by 3M DI-NOC vinyl, the bottom is unpolished clearcoated stainless steel.

more pictures of what they look like further away, the red letter "A" shows the backing with 3M double sided tape:

i have a few sets left, any question can be reached at ngsam@rogers.com

i'm sure more pictures coming soon this summer~

i'm fine as i wasn't in the car. my wife was driving it alone. she's ok as well. thanks guys!
let's just say that a pole hit my TL from the driver side headlight all the way to the rear panel.

thinking of getting the 08 base bumper with fogs instead, not sure if it's worth it. the fogs alone cost an arm and a leg already!!

Ouch! I'm glad that your wife is okay. Her well-being > TL any day.

Personally I see more 07-08 TLs around here than 04-06's, so I would stay away from the 07-08 front end. Just my of course.

In all honesty, I don't think it'll look that good on the TL. Might be a love-hate thing.
