Love your work OP, keep it up.
I'm wondering about your DRL set up with the harness. Did you not need to use a resistor on the driver's side before the harness then? You mentioned an in-line resistor for passenger side socket but not driver's side. If this is true, then you just solved my LED DRL woes as well!
Keep up the great work man, I usually love the Audi style DRL strips but I personally think it takes away from the general beauty of the the 3G headlight housing. The black chrome is beautiful though.

i might be using those audi style leds to light up with something else (alarm etc)...still thinking about it....
it's all good.

I just did and it worked!! get a 9005 relay harness, hook it up to the battery and plug it in your driver side socket, then get a resistor and plug it in your passenger side socket only and leave it alone. Connect the angel eyes to your relay harness and they should light up as DRL!!
I am also trying to do this for my 2007 TL and wire the angel eyes to the DRL. Can you be more clear/specific on how you did it? What size resistor did you use and how did you wire the resistor in the passenger side socket? I have 4 halos total, 2 halos in each headlight, so I assume each headlight requires 2 resistors so I will need 2 resistors for the passenger side? also when you say leave it alone, the passenger side socket will not be used so it will not be attached to the headlight but rather be just dangling in the engine bay?

i'm sure there should be enough power to light up 2 halos if you connect both together on one side.

50w resistor would do. you'd only need one resistor like i mentioned earlier on the passenger side. yes, the passenger side socket will not be used other than the resistor connected.

i was gonna say....they're ON the car already!!! lol
i'll try to take some pictures of them "turn on" at night. some people already seen them in person, I'm glad the headlights turned out the way I wanted.
my family is coming in town today, so i'll try to find time to take some proper photos.
